DSM makes it is easy know what is happening as it happens. If you click on Settings, and then Messaging, the first section is called Admin notifications. Here is a screenshot:
Now lets go over these settings:
- Notification Email: This is the email address for which all notifications will be sent from DSM to the administrator.
- Email Account Registration Notification: Whenever someone register using the Online Client, you will receive a notification.
- Email Class Registration Admin Notification: This let’s you know when someone has registered for a class.
- Email New Payment Notification: Of course, this let’s you know you have received money and how much!
- Email New Purchases Notification: If you are using sales items (as opposed to Billing Schedule), this let’s you know when items have been purchased such as class cards or shoes, etc.
- Email New Group Class Note Notification: If you teacher has posted a new note for the class, this let’s you know about it. This can be a useful tool to allow teacher to keep administrators in the loop about things going on in the classes.
