Providing your dance students with accurate client statements can help you to clearly communicate with your students about their balance and payment history. Below is a basic example of a client statement.

There client statements can be configured in many different ways. From the Admin Dashboard, click on settings and then global settings. Next, type the word “statement” in the search, and you will find there are many options including:

  1. Show Logo: you can upload a logo that will be shown on the invoice
  2. Show Payments Section: You can set this to “no” and then only charges will be shown but not payments
  3. Show Charges From: this allows you to show charges from a specific date until the present. Perhaps, you only want to show charges from the current year for example.

Statements can be emailed or printed from each client’s ledger. Often studios will run global tuition, and then print client statements. Maybe you only want to send a statement to those students with an outstanding balance? The outstanding balance report can help you find those students that owe a balance. Additionally, DSM has many other accounting features and reports to help you.
