Pricing and free trial

What is the price of your software?

Dance Studio Manager is $40 per month. There are no contracts, and you can cancel anytime.

Do you offer a free trial?

Yes. We offer a 30-day free trial with no credit card required, so you can explore most features before making a decision.

What features are not available during the free trial?

During the trial, most of the software is available. A few features are excluded:

  • Instructor passwords and Instructor View
  • SMS text messaging
  • Emailer
  • Online Client registration system

All other core features of Dance Studio Manager remain available during the trial.

What happens to my information after the trial?

If you continue after the trial, you do not need to re-enter your information. Your student records, schedules, and settings remain in place so you can move directly into normal use.

Setup and features

What is the difference between Admin View and Instructor View?

Admin View gives full access to all Dance Studio Manager features.

Instructor View gives more limited access, including New Family, Families, Students, the instructor’s own calendar and classes, roll sheet reports, and the emailer.

Do you offer online registration?

Yes. We offer Online Client, which can be installed for your DSM and integrated into your website design.

Can I import data from another system?

Yes. If your student list is in a compatible format such as Excel, we can help import it into the software.

Can someone set up the software for me?

The system is already prepared when you start your free trial, so you can begin using it right away. If you need help, our team is available to guide you.

Do you offer support?

Yes. We offer:

What are your technical support hours?

We operate in Pacific Standard Time (PST) on the U.S. West Coast.

Do you have a refund policy?

You can cancel your subscription at any time. There are no long-term contracts or cancellation fees.

We do not offer refunds for service periods that have already been paid for or used.

Data privacy and security

Will you ever access or share my data with anyone?

We will only access your data with your permission when providing support. We never share your data with third parties.

Is my data secure?

Yes. Your data is:

  • Backed up daily, weekly, and monthly
  • Stored in multiple secure locations
  • Downloadable through the Tools and Settings menu if you want your own local backup

In total, there are five backups of your data, including the live version on the server.
