Create an Online Client account
#Before you begin
- The Create Account link appears only when the studio allows public account registration.
- Use an email address you can open. The studio can require email confirmation or send account-access instructions to that address.
- Have required contact, address, birth-date, medical, and related-student information available. The exact fields are set by the studio.
- If your family or email may already be in the studio's records, use the existing-account prompt instead of creating a duplicate.
- Required agreements can include an electronic signature.
#Choose the account type shown by your studio
The studio selects one registration mode. You do not choose among FAMILY, ADULT, and COMBINED unless the I am... field appears.
| Registration mode | What the form does |
|---|---|
| FAMILY | Creates the primary person as a guardian. The form can show a second guardian and one or more related students. |
| ADULT | Creates the primary person as the student. The form does not show the I am... selector or a related-student roster. |
| COMBINED | Shows I am... so the primary person can register as an adult student, a guardian of children, or both. Related-student fields are hidden when Adult Registering for classes is selected. |
Studio terminology can replace “Student” with another title. The fields shown for related students also depend on studio settings.
#Create the account
- On the studio's Online Client page, select Create Account.
- In Account, enter a unique Username.
- Enter a password of at least eight characters in Password, then enter it again in Confirm Password.
- Enter the Primary Email, first name, and last name.
- If I am... appears, select the choice that describes the primary person:
- Adult Registering for classes;
- Guardian registering Children; or
- Guardian registering Children and also as Adult Student. The final word can use the studio's preferred student title.
- Complete every field marked with an asterisk. Depending on studio settings, the form can request:
- a nickname or secondary email;
- birth date and gender;
- one or more phone numbers and a primary phone choice;
- address, country, primary location, or company;
- medical instructions;
- how you heard about the studio;
- studio-defined additional questions.
- If related-student fields appear, enter the first student's details. Select + More for another student or - Less to remove the final unused row.
- Open each agreement and read it. Select the acknowledgement checkbox when requested.
- For a signature agreement, select Sign, draw the signature, select the consent checkbox, and select Click to Sign. A locked preview confirms that the signature was finalized.
- Complete the reCAPTCHA challenge or enter the Security Code shown.
- Review the names, primary email, selected account type, and related students.
- Select Create Account once.
#If the email already belongs to an account
The form can detect an existing primary account after you leave the Primary Email field.
- Review the name and email in the existing-account message.
- If it is your account, select Email Reset Link and follow the message sent to that email address.
- If it is not your account, select Cancel and contact the studio before continuing.
Do not create a second account to work around the prompt. Duplicate family accounts can separate students, enrollments, purchases, and balances.
#What happens next
The completion path depends on studio settings:
- Sign in manually: the completion page confirms registration and asks you to sign in with the credentials you created.
- Automatic sign-in: the Online Client home page opens with the new account signed in. If required waivers remain, the welcome message directs you to complete them.
- Email confirmation: the account remains unconfirmed until you use the confirmation link sent to the primary email. Email confirmation takes priority even when automatic sign-in is otherwise enabled.
A studio registration message can also include a Create Password link. That link sets the password; an email-confirmation link verifies the email address. They are different actions, so complete each action requested by the studio. Never send either full link to another person.
#Confirm your email when requested
- Leave the registration completion page open if possible.
- Open the most recent confirmation email from the studio.
- Select its confirmation action once.
- Return to Sign In unless the studio automatically signs you in after confirmation.
The confirmation link is time-limited. If the completion page offers Resend Confirmation, use it once to generate a new message; the prior confirmation link is replaced. If the page says the email could not be sent, contact the studio to finish activation.
#Confirm it worked
Look for one of these results:
- a registration-complete message with a Sign In action;
- the Online Client home page with your account menu visible;
- an email-confirmation success message followed by Sign In;
- a welcome message asking you to complete required waivers.
After signing in, open Edit Account and confirm the primary person and any related students. Availability and labels can differ by studio.
#Troubleshooting
#Create Account is missing or registration is closed
The studio has disabled public account creation. Contact the studio rather than using another studio's Online Client link.
#Required fields look different from these instructions
That is expected. Studios can require or hide guardian, student, phone, address, country, location, company, gender, birth-date, medical, referral, agreement, and custom fields. Follow the asterisks and on-screen labels.
#A related student section is missing
- ADULT mode does not show related students during account creation.
- In COMBINED mode, Adult Registering for classes hides the student roster.
- A studio can allow related students but defer adding them until after sign-in.
When allowed, use Add Related Student from the account menu after signing in.
#The form returns to a security challenge
Complete the new challenge and submit again. An invisible reCAPTCHA check can require a visible checkbox after an uncertain result.
#The confirmation email does not arrive
Check spam or junk mail and confirm that the address shown on the completion page is correct. Use Resend Confirmation once if it is offered. Then contact the studio; do not register the same family again.
#You cannot sign in with the password you entered during registration
First complete any confirmation action. Then check the studio message for a separate Create Password link, which can be part of a configured registration email. If neither resolves the issue, contact the studio rather than creating another account.
