Purchases and Gift Cards

Review purchases and use gift cards

Use Purchases to review what your account acquired and Gift Cards to track or apply studio gift-card value. Buying and redeeming cards appear only when the studio and current release make those actions available.
For: Online ClientUpdated 2026-07-16

Current availability: Purchase history and purchase details are available. The current Gift Cards page can display card records, but code redemption is temporarily unavailable while stored-value ownership and locking are reconciled.

#Before you begin

  • Open the account menu to find Purchases and Gift Cards. Buy Items can appear in the main navigation.
  • A purchase and a payment are different records. A purchase identifies the item, package, or service; its detail can show related charges, payments, balance, usage, and expiration.
  • Gift-card products can have a fixed price or let you choose the amount.
  • Treat a gift-card code like stored value. Share it only with its intended recipient or the studio through an approved secure process.
  • Applying a gift card reduces the amount due only up to its available value. Another payment method can still be required.

#Review purchase history

  1. Open the account menu and select Purchases.
  2. Review the list. Its columns can include Date, Item, Scheduled, Used, Expire, and Charged.
  3. Under an item name, check whether the row shows Paid or a remaining Balance.
  4. Select the purchase row or item name to open Purchase details.
  5. Review the purchase status and the Charged, Paid, and Balance totals.
  6. Review any available sections:
    • Line items shows quantities, usage, and expiration.
    • Charges shows the dated amounts, tax, discount, and charge notes.
    • Payments shows payment dates, amounts, methods, references, and notes.
    • Notes shows other purchase information recorded by the studio.
  7. Select Close when you are finished.

Purchase statuses can include Paid, Unpaid, and Refunded. A package can also show how many lessons, hours, or credits have been used and when it expires.

Note: A Scheduled value describes planned use or activity for that purchase. It is separate from the payment status.

#Buy a gift card

This option appears only when the studio offers a gift-card product for online sale.

  1. Open Buy Items.
  2. Find and select the gift-card product.
  3. If the product says Choose amount or Enter gift card amount, enter the intended value in Gift card amount. A fixed-price card skips this step.
  4. Confirm the Quantity.
  5. Select Add to Cart.
  6. Open Cart and review the gift-card item, amount, quantity, fees, and order total.
  7. Continue to checkout and complete the order using the studio's available payment method.
  8. Wait for the order confirmation before leaving the page or trying again.

Warning: Completing checkout can charge the selected payment method. Submit once, then verify the confirmation and account records before repeating an uncertain attempt.

#Review gift cards

  1. Open the account menu and select Gift Cards.
  2. Read the availability notice at the top of the page.
  3. Review the table columns: Card Code, Amount, Available, Buyer, For Member, Purchased, Activation, Expiration, and Status.
  4. Use Available to understand the displayed remaining value.
  5. Contact the studio if the owner, assigned member, status, dates, or available value appears wrong.

Important: In the list, Redeemed describes whether a code has been claimed or linked. It does not necessarily mean that the card's full value has been spent.

Do not enter or repeatedly submit a code while the page says redemption is unavailable. A studio representative must use the supported stored-value process until that notice is removed and the redemption workflow is reverified.

#Apply a gift card during checkout

  1. Add the intended class, package, product, or other item to Cart and open checkout.
  2. In the promotions and credits area, find Gift Cards.
  3. Select each card you want to apply. The card's code and available amount appear beside the checkbox.
  4. Confirm that the order summary shows Gift Cards as a reduction.
  5. Review the new amount due. Select or enter another payment method when a balance remains.
  6. Complete checkout once and wait for the confirmation page.

Gift cards are applied before other payments. The software uses no more than the amount due, so unused value can remain available on the card.

#What happens next

  • A completed order appears under Purchases with its current charged, paid, and balance information.
  • An eligible gift card already linked to the family appears under Gift Cards for the account.
  • A gift card selected at a confirmed checkout appears as a reduction in the order summary.
  • The card's Available amount is the place to review remaining displayed value after the checkout record is complete.

#Confirm it worked

For a purchase, open Purchases, select the row, and verify its item, date, status, amounts, and any usage or expiration information.

For a listed card, verify the code, owner/member, status, dates, amount, and Available value. Do not treat the list alone as proof that a new code was redeemed during the current session.

For an applied card, verify the Gift Cards deduction on the checkout confirmation and then review the card's Available value. Do not assume value was used if checkout did not reach confirmation.

#Troubleshooting

#The gift card is not available in Buy Items

The studio may not sell gift cards online, the item may be outside its sale window, the cart may be disabled, or sign-in may be required. Contact the studio if you were given different purchase instructions.

#The page asks for a gift-card amount

The product has no fixed price. Enter an amount of at least the minimum accepted by the form, then select Add to Cart again.

#The code is invalid or already redeemed

Do not keep submitting it. Check the gift-card list and contact the studio securely with the code and intended recipient. Do not post the code publicly or send it in an ordinary support screenshot.

#Gift-card redemption is temporarily unavailable

This is the current supported state while ownership and locking are reconciled. Review existing cards on the page, then contact the studio for help with a new code.

#A card is listed but cannot be selected at checkout

Confirm that it has available value and is active for the intended account. Checkout options can also depend on the order and studio settings. Contact the studio before creating a duplicate order.

#The purchase balance looks wrong

Open Purchase details and compare Charges, Payments, discounts, tax, and notes. Then compare the account ledger. A scheduled payment is not the same as a completed payment.

#Purchase details do not load

Close the drawer and select the row again. If it still fails, record the item name and date and contact the studio. Do not send full payment credentials or gift-card codes in an ordinary message.
